Process Management International (PMI) provides consulting and training in process improvement, quality management, customer focus, and team skills. PMI was founded in Minneapolis in 1984. Separate companies were established to provide PMI services in the UK in 1991 and in Australia in 1995.

PMI's mission is to enable organizations and individuals to benefit from the practical application of W. Edwards Deming's System of Profound Knowledge, which includes the four inter-related aspects shown at left.                                   

PMI's distinctive competencies include the application of Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques to management information, and the integration of traditional process improvement methods with systems approaches such as causal loop diagramming.

PMI also offers Six Sigma Yellow, Green, and Black Belt training.
